The Void is owned and operated by Bear Hug Wellness ("we", "us", "our"). By using this service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use The Void.

The Void is an anonymous reflection service. You release a thought into the void, and on the Echo Premium tier a real human may write back. The Void is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or crisis support. If you are in danger, please use the resources on our safety page.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or to harass another person.
• Send content that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
• Attempt to interfere with security, scrape the service, or probe for vulnerabilities.
• Submit spam, malware, or automated traffic.
• Send threats of violence toward identifiable people. Whispers of that nature are not permitted and may require safety intervention.

You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have permission from a guardian) to use The Void.

The Void does not require an account or your real name. You are identified only by an anonymous device key. You're responsible for activity originating from your device. Echo Premium subscriptions collect an email solely for billing receipts.

Echo Premium is a paid subscription with a 3-day free trial, then $2.99/month or $29.99/year (charged in advance, auto-renewing until canceled). You can cancel anytime from the customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by Stripe. Stripe is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, billing, tax, returns, and customer service for orders. For any billing or refund questions, email support@the-void.life.

Responses from Echo Premium are written by real humans expressing personal reflections. They are not professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. We make no guarantee about response time, frequency, or content. Some whispers may not receive a response.

The Void's software, design, and branding belong to us. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process it solely to operate the service (including delivering it to a responder).

The Void is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we disclaim implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated misuse. You may stop using the service at any time by clearing your device key or canceling your subscription.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, or for loss of data or goodwill. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law forbids it.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
