keep the void close

Add it to your home screen, so it's there on the nights you need it.

iphone & ipad

from Safari

It must be Safari — other browsers on iOS can't add to the home screen.

  1. Open the-void.life in Safari.
  2. Tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow).
  3. Scroll and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
  4. Tap “Add” in the top right.

android

from Chrome

Most Android browsers support this; Chrome is the smoothest.

  1. Open the-void.life in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen.”
  4. Confirm to place the icon on your home screen.

desktop

from Chrome, Edge, or Brave

The void will open in its own window, without the browser around it.

  1. Open the-void.life in Chrome, Edge, or Brave.
  2. Look for the small install icon at the right edge of the address bar.
  3. If you don't see it, open the ⋮ menu and choose “Install The Void.”
  4. Confirm to add it to your dock or start menu.

The void works just as well in a browser tab. Installing is only for if you want it nearer.
